How do I erase footage held on the local encoding device?

Occasionally you may want to safely erase a storage device for security purposes.

You must be logged in as an Administrator or Group manager to manage device settings!

Steps to configure

  1. Click the Devices link in the navigation bar.

  2. Find the device you are looking for either by searching or using the paging functionality.

  3. Click on the Settings button for the device:

  4. Click on the Recording sub-navigation link:

  5. Navigate to the Local recording devices section and click the Erase button to the right of the storage device you wish to erase:
