We are aware that some users wish to restrict how long recordings are kept on their local encoding devices for GDPR purposes. To enable this we have a control that configures this.
You must be logged in as an Administrator or Group manager to manage device settings!
Steps to configure
Click the Devices link in the navigation bar.
Find the device you are looking for either by searching or using the paging functionality.
Click on the Settings button for the device:
Click on the Recording sub-navigation link:
Navigate down the page, and click the Advanced link:
Navigate to the Recording settings section and click the Change button to the right of the "Limit how long recordings are kept on this device" message:
Complete the form that appears with your options around how you wish to control the recordings and click Save:
