In addition to the CloudVis web app, you can also download a native app onto your iOS, Android, or Windows device.
The main benefit of using an app is that you will receive push alerts (on iOS and Android) and hear alert sounds which means you don't have to be actively monitoring the CloudVis web app for incoming alerts.
You can download the apps from:
Apple App Store (or search for CloudVis in the App Store)
Google Play Store (or search for CloudVis in the Google Play app)
Once you have installed the app you can use the same login details that you use to access the web app.
First-run permissions
The first time you run the app you may be asked for various system permissions:
Location
This is so we can plot your position in the mapping view, in relation to your CloudVis devices.Access to your photos
This allows us to save images from your cameras into your camera roll.Notifications
If you want to receive notifications of alerts from CloudVis, then you need to grant us those permissions.
CloudVis does not record your device's location or access any of your existing photos on your devices.
