CE Compliance Statement

The EdgeVis MiniCam encoder complies with the following European Union Directives:

  • Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU

    • Standards: EN 301 489-1, EN 301 489-17, EN 301 489-52, EN 55032

    • Standards EN 300 328, EN 301 893, EN 301 908-1, EN 301 908-2, EN 301 908-13

  • Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU

    • EN 62368-1

    • EN 62311

  • Council RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU

FCC Compliance Statement

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits of a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna

  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver

  • Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected

The EdgeVis MiniCam encoder may contain a radio module that has been FCC Approved for fixed and mobile applications (FCC ID: N7NMC7455 Contains transmitter module IC: 2417C-MC7455 where 2417C-MC73542417C-MC7355 is the module’s certification number). And module FCC ID: TX2-RTL8812BU.

FCC Warning: changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

To meet the FCC’s RF exposure rules and regulations:

  • The antenna(s) used with the EdgeVis MiniCam encoder must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20cm (8 inches) from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter

  • The antenna(s) used with the EdgeVis MiniCam encoder, including cable loss, must not exceed 6 dBi at 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1700 MHz and 1900 MHz; 9 dBi at 2500/2600 MHz; and 1 dBi at 2300 MHz, as defined in 2.1091 for satisfying RF exposure compliance

The EdgeVis MiniCam encoder shall only be used for fixed and mobile applications.
